About The Position

This position involves receiving product off the main banding line, checking load tags, and either loading the product into specified trailers or moving it into inventory. The operator will also move product from inventory to machines and complete required paperwork. The role requires adherence to safety policies, daily equipment inspections, maintaining a clean work area, utilizing scanners for accurate inventory, ensuring orders are moved to the next operation, and handling product to minimize damage. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Must be a licensed powered industrial truck operator
Must be able to operate a lift truck safely with minimal product damage
Must be able to accurately scan load tags and maintain accurate inventories
Must be able to read and follow production schedules
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate computer skills
Strong math/algebra skills
Problem solving and critical thinking
Forklift license required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Follow and help to ensure that fellow workers adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
Conduct daily inspections of equipment.
Be constantly vigilant and maintain a safe & clean work area.
Utilize scanners and ensure inventories are kept accurate.
Ensure that all orders produced are moved to the next operation.
Handle product to minimize damage
