About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position. This role involves operating forklifts to unload trucks, place product into the warehouse, move product around the warehouse, and load trucks for customer shipment. The company is a leading producer of pressure-treated lumber products and distributes a large volume of products from well-known brands across the South, Midwest, and Northeast.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Nice To Haves
- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Use pedals to go forward and backwards as well as be able to navigate a warehouse.
- Use hydraulic controls to lift, tilt, and shift product for stacking or movement.
- Unload trucks and place product into the warehouse.
- Move product around the warehouse.
- Load trucks for logistics to ship to customers.
