About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock between areas in a warehouse. The role includes down-stacking racks and scanning tires, as well as loading and unloading shipments of various sizes. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operation experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Down-stack racks and scan tires.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
