About The Position
Employees operate a forklift at a brisk pace to transport materials and products from the storage yard on a pallet to the loading docks or staging areas. They will also enter the plant floor to transfer or collect parts or products for transportation to the external storage area.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Physically able to manually lift and inspect products when a hoist is not necessary
- Good Attendance
- Willingness to Learn
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift at a brisk pace to transport materials and products from the storage yard on a pallet to the loading docks or staging areas.
- Transfer or collect parts or products for transportation to the external storage area.
- Conduct inspections on the forklift to verify its operational status.
- Perform Bin Filling tasks.
- Retrieve customer orders.
