About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift in the palletizing area for lines 1, 2, and 3. The primary duties include picking up finished pallets of product from fully cooked lines 1, 2, and 3, transporting them to the freezer or shipping dock, ensuring the Manifestor configures the pallet in the EIM system, placing the header card on the pallet, wrapping the pallet using a stretch wrapping machine, and then taking the wrapped pallet to the freezer or shipping dock. This role also involves working as directed by a supervisor and may require weekend work.

Requirements

• Forklift operator license.
• 3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years).
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• For former Tyson Foods team members: There is a 180-day (6 months) waiting period. Maximum of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
• This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
