About The Position

Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Forklift Operator – Weekly Pay! Looking for a forklift operator role with steady hours, competitive pay, and weekends off? Join our team as a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator! Training will take place on 1st shift, giving you the support you need to succeed before moving to your regular 2nd shift schedule. In this role, you'll safely move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift. You'll also work with other material-handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, and hand trucks as needed. This is a great opportunity for experienced operators who enjoy staying active and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Previous forklift experience
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
• Safety Mindset

Nice To Haves

• Use of handheld measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
• Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
• Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
• Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle Counts.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
• Performs general clean up.
• Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
• Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
• Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
