About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all product and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will be fully re-trained and certified on forklift during orientation. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

3 months forklift experience (Can be a combination of employers as long as it at least 3 months)
Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed.
Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)

Responsibilities

All new hires start out as case pickers, after probationary period will be cross trained into other tasks.
During your work shift, which will consist of up to (12) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
As part of efficiently completing job tasks, a handheld scanner will be used to track products as it is loaded, unloaded, and moved around the facility.
At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
Receiver – Receives product accurately into the building using PIT.
Put Away – Pulls product that has been received and puts it into the racking. May be required to palletize or split pallets.
Replenisher – Pulls pallets from racking to replenish pick faces.
Picker – (Case picker/Order Selector and full pallet picker) pulls product either in single or full palletized form to fill and build customer orders.
Loader – Loads trucks with product in an efficient manner that will avoid product damage or loss.
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
