About The Position

This position involves operating a forklift in a cold environment (0 degrees or less) to manage product rotation, inventory, and loading/unloading of trucks. The role requires attention to detail for paperwork, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work independently until tasks are completed. Successful candidates must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 70 pounds, and work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must abide by all department safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Communicate with proper personnel.
• Work in a cold atmosphere of 0 degrees or less.
• Work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Lift 70 pounds.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Abide by all department safety rules.
• May be subject to rotation.
