About The Position

The Forklift Operator holds the responsibility for the accurate and efficient completion of the defined order fulfillment process, which may include material handling, equipment operation, transportation, selection, identification, verification, placement, staging, labeling, and shipping of required product as directed. Transports, selects, identifies, verifies, packages, labels, and places product(s) into shipping container(s) and/or ships (loads) product(s) as required. Details actual tasks vs. expected tasks thru the comparison of picking and/or packing lists to customer documents. Recounts product before shipment to ensure accuracy. Labels and addresses product as required and transports product to the staging area of the shipping department. Ensures product(s) meet(s) all requirements before packing and shipping. Handles all products according to customer and employer procedures. Communicates effectively with Warehouse, Management, Co-workers, and Customers.

Requirements

  • Previous sit-down forklift experience (Required)
  • High energy level and willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment dedicated to safety, customer satisfaction, and achievement of quality and productivity goals

  • Lift up to 35 pounds entire shift

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Warehouse management system experience, including RF scanners and/or Voice (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • $19.00/hour plus a $1.00/hour 2nd Shift differential ($20.00/hour total)
