About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator/Laborer to join our team at our salt packaging facility. This role involves operating forklifts to move materials, assisting with packaging operations, and performing general labor tasks to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to transport raw salt, packaged goods, and other materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist in the packaging of salt products, including weighing, sealing, labeling, and palletizing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Perform manual lifting and handling of materials as required.
- Support production line operations and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
