About The Position

We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our warehouse in Front Royal, VA. This position is responsible for promoting a safe work environment, loading and unloading trucks and containers, checking freight for accuracy and damage, taking inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. The role also involves reporting any equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Training will be provided, and while prior forklift experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical are required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Forklift experience (specific standup or sit down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with RFID
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong teamwork skills
• Self-motivator
• Must be able to work overtime, days and/or evenings, and weekends
• Ability to read numbers and labels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines
• Ability to safety lift up to 60 lbs. frequently

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work environment through personal actions
• Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner
• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage
• Take inventory as needed
• Direct product to correct area in warehouse
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
