About The Position

Join Aaron’s warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and help ensure efficient, safe warehouse operations. The role involves transporting and organizing merchandise with powered industrial trucks (PITs), supporting the flow of goods, maintaining safety compliance, and helping keep the warehouse clean and organized. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Work may involve varying warehouse temperatures and both indoor and outdoor environments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks (PITs), with 2 or more years of experience, is preferred.
OSHA or employee certification for PIT operation is preferred.
A safe, verifiable operating history is appreciated.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance.
Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing or pulling; constant sitting and fine hand/wrist manipulation; and occasional walking and standing.
Comfort working in varying warehouse temperatures, including indoor and outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two or more years of powered industrial truck operating experience.
OSHA or employee certification for PIT operation.
Safe, verifiable operating history.

Responsibilities

Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including counterbalance forklifts and order pickers, to transport and organize merchandise.
Unload incoming stock, pick orders, and load outbound trucks to meet store needs.
Perform daily PIT inspections and comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
Operate RF scanners as directed by supervisors.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.
Follow company safety rules and participate in required training programs.
