About The Position

Operate heavy machinery in a warehouse setting. Properly load, secure, unload and protect deliveries and donation, raw materials, and manufactured goods. Distinguish between labeled containers to transport to designated areas.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must have adequate eyesight, hearing, and hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to follow directions well.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain current forklift certification.
• Operate forklift and pallet jacks within warehouse and dock area when required.
• Neatly and accurately complete required paperwork to include manifest, donation count sheets, and truck seals.
• Accurately and immediately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
• Perform operator-level maintenance on assigned equipment to include daily pre and post trip safety checks including but not limited to, fuel, oil, lubricants, water, antifreeze, and condition.
• Other duties as assigned.
