About The Position

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. This role involves operating a forklift to transport product throughout the warehouse, performing inspections, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The position requires working in an environment with varying temperatures and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Warehouse Forklift Operator experience
• HS or GED Diploma
• Highly dependable with a strong work history
• Safety-conscious with demonstrated safe working habits
• Effective and efficient with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, pull, push, stack, and carry items up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
• Comfortable working in an upbeat, fast-paced environment
• Enjoys tasks that are repetitive in nature
• Motivated to seek out, identify, and improve processes
• Team-oriented and customer-focused
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Communication skills required
• Computer and office skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft office
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
• Able to exhibit effective oral and written communication skills
• Work flexible hours and overtime if necessary

Nice To Haves

• Yard and fleet management preferred
• CDL Truck Driver Preferred but will train.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial truck
• Perform Preventative Trucks and Trailer inspections
• Follow federal and government regulations such as FTZ
• Organize Vendor shipments
• Keep works areas clean and in order to include tractors/equipment
• Responsible for all incoming and out-going load security (locks/seals/etc.)
• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Work at a fast pace while maintaining safe working habits
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Safely operate a forklift truck to transport product throughout warehouse
• Accurate record keeping
