About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and materials throughout a fast-paced, team-oriented, safety-focused warehouse. The operator will use equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and shipments. The role also supports shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.

This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Pay is $21.35 per hour, plus $1. The role requires a forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment. A high school diploma or equivalent, six months of warehouse experience, and six months of forklift operation experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Maintain equipment, materials, and the work area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
