About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 2nd shift. This role is essential for the Shipping Department and involves various tasks related to loading, storage, and material handling. The position requires accuracy, problem-solving skills, and adherence to workplace standards. The Forklift Driver will operate in a distribution center environment with potential exposure to noise and dust, working around equipment such as conveyors and shrink wrap machines.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Math Skills
• Experience using computers
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate towards a common goal
• Ability to work independently and stay on task without frequent supervision
• Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends
• Must have good attendance
• Must be flexible to changes in shift start times

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately load trucks
• Basic problem solving
• Maintain 5S standards in the Shipping area
• Locate pallets to the correct storage locations
• Work the LTL lines and EAP lines
• Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor
• Driving is not limited to Shipping
