About The Position

American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier metal supplier in Longview, WA to hire multiple full-time Forklift Operators. This role offers a dependable Monday-Friday day shift routine, excellent hourly pay up to $25/hr, and a stable path to a permanent local career. The Forklift Operator will operate material-handling forklifts safely within a fast-paced industrial metal facility, load and unload heavy structural materials onto commercial trailers and flatbeds, and package completed finished components carefully for secure warehouse shipment. Responsibilities include utilizing the specialized SteelPlus ERP system to record inventory moves and handle data entry, and executing standard pre-operation vehicle safety checks and maintaining an organized yard.

Requirements

• Prior verifiable experience operating forklifts and handling materials inside an industrial setting.
• Basic technology experience with the comfort to input data and navigate inventory tracking systems.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent history of daily attendance, high safety awareness, and reliable personal transit.
