About The Position
This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products using a forklift and pallet jack. The position also involves maintaining logs, ensuring product condition, and moving materials to the production area according to the FEFO standard. The company emphasizes a solution-based positive attitude, maintaining housekeeping standards, promoting a safe work environment, and delivering quality products and services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Experience using an RF Gun or WMS inventory tracking system handheld
- Must pass the forklift certification training program
- Must pass a forklift written test and practical assessment
- Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents
- Proven history of good attendance
- Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions with diverse employees
- A willingness to flow to work to meet the needs of the business
- Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving materials and products
- Picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack
- Maintain receiving/shipping logs
- Ensure incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition
- Move materials to the production area using the FEFO standard
- Operate a forklift in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment
- Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures
- Maintain housekeeping standards with attention to detail
- Stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy
