About The Position
We’re looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support daily operations in our store. You’ll play a vital role in handling inventory, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring materials like joint compound, paint, corner metal, and drywall supplies are stored and moved efficiently.
Requirements
- Skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator
- Ability to handle inventory, load and unload shipments
- Experience with materials like joint compound, paint, corner metal, and drywall supplies
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload delivery trucks with building materials
- Move products to designated storage areas or sales floor locations
- Assist with inventory organization, restocking, and rotation
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support store staff with heavy lifting and customer loading as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard area
