About The Position

Openwork is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for client positions in Round Rock and Pflugerville, Texas. Operators use powered industrial equipment to move and handle warehouse materials, fulfill orders, and support warehouse operations. Equipment varies by client and may include sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers. The role is identified as temporary. Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with weekly pay. Multiple shifts are available, including first and second shifts; weekend work and overtime opportunities depend on the client.

Requirements

Previous forklift operating experience is required.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is preferred for some positions.
High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not always required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment while following safety procedures.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners, pick sheets, or warehouse management systems.
Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and stock replenishment as needed.
Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and sorting.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Inspect forklifts before each shift and report equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
