About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support daily material-handling operations. The primary responsibility of this position will be safely operating a forklift to unload trucks containing medical waste and move materials to designated areas within the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, be comfortable working in an industrial environment, and understand the importance of following established safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work around medical waste and follow required safety procedures.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the position.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to unload trucks containing medical waste and other materials.
• Move, stage, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Follow instructions from the Lead Forklift Operator and site supervision.
• Perform basic pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment problems.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surrounding work activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly handle materials according to established procedures.
• Assist with general operational duties when needed.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, spills, or other concerns immediately.
