About The Position
Laredo BSL Inc. seeks a Forklift Operator with experience in warehouse operations, safe material handling, and loading and unloading freight. We are looking for a responsible, safety-conscious, and team-oriented individual who can efficiently operate forklifts to support warehousing, shipping, receiving, and internal material movement while maintaining the company's quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ability to load, unload, stage, and move freight in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to material handling equipment.
- Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and basic inventory control.
- Ability to perform daily forklift inspections and identify equipment requiring maintenance or repair.
- Ability to maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Ability to follow operating procedures, safety policies, and work instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating forklift attachments beyond standard forks, including pole attachments, paper roll clamps, carton clamps, roll clamps, reach attachments, or other specialized attachments is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
- Occasional availability to work after 6:00 p.m. and/or Saturday mornings is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
