About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the Yellawood brand, is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position. This role offers competitive pay and a full benefit package. The 2nd Shift receives a $1.00 Shift Differential. The primary function of this role is to drive an industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
Requirements
- Must have previous forklift experience
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Keeps record of inventory.
