About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all products and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will be fully re-trained and certified on forklift during orientation. Most of the time will be driving PIT including stand-up forklifts and reach trucks for extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 12 hours)

Requirements

3 Months operator experience (Can be a combination of employer as long as it is at least 3 months)
3 Months forklift experience (Can be a combination of employer as long as it is at least 3 months)
Full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred)

Nice To Haves

Cold Storage Experience Preferred.
May be trained on Cherry picker for additional tasks.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all products and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift.
Moving around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
Following all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.
Using a handheld scanner to track products as it is moved around the facility.
Receiving product accurately into the building using PIT.
Pulling product that has been received and putting it into the racking.
Palletizing or splitting pallets.
Pulling pallets from racking to replenish pick faces.
Pulling product either in single or full palletized form to fill and build customer orders.
Loading trucks with product in an efficient manner that will avoid product damage or loss.
