About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator / Yard Helper to join their lumberyard operations team in Branford, CT. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, assisting customers, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using and maintaining machines and equipment in the lumberyard.
• Assist clients with their inquiries and discuss products and issues.
• Assist customers in finding, identifying, and loading vehicles.
• Read receipt tickets.
• Move materials throughout the lumberyard.
• Operate machinery like forklifts, saws, or trucks.
• Keep building materials organized.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Help wherever else needed to ensure operations run smoothly.
