About The Position

The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of product within the warehouse using stand-up and sit-down electric powered industrial trucks. This onsite role supports warehouse operations by loading, unloading, storing, and supplying materials to production and shipping areas while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of three months of related experience and/or training
Ability to complete certification through the McCain Operator Training Program
Ability to obtain and maintain McCain Forklift Certification and McCain Aerial Lift Certification
Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operating instructions
Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Flexibility to work onsite, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up and sit-down electric powered forklifts and other lifting devices to move product in and out of the warehouse
Load, unload, stack, and transport pallets, totes, and materials to designated locations
Supply production and warehouse team members with materials and supplies as required
Position forks under loads and control lifting mechanisms to safely move product
Follow all safety, security, and warehouse operating procedures
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to support operational needs
Participate in required training and certification programs
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
