About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Forklift Operators/Warehouse Workers in DeSoto, Texas. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity. The schedule is Monday – Friday with two shift options: 1st shift from 5am – 1:30pm and 2nd shift from 1pm – 9:45pm. Both shifts include overtime during the week and weekends. The role involves maintaining inventory and received goods using an ERP system, quality control, material handling with various equipment, and moving/packaging parts to support production.

Requirements

• 1 – 3 years of warehouse and forklift operating experience
• Must be okay with heights to operate the cherry pickers
• Must be able to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Quality control experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and received goods using an ERP system.
• Quality control
• Material handling using forklifts, cherry pickers, sit-down, stand-up forklift and pallet jacks
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Move and package parts to support overhaul production
