Forklift Operator Truck Loader 5PM-2AM
About The Position
Hadco Metal Trading, LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and related alloys, and plastics. Our products include plate, sheet and long products for general engineering, aerospace and commercial markets. Hadco's branches are located in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kansas, Florida, California, Oklahoma, and throughout the globe. Currently we are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator for our Bensalem, PA facility to load flatbed trucks for next day deliveries. Hours are 5:00PM-2:00AM, Sunday through Thursday.
Requirements
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Must be willing to work 5:00PM-2:00AM
- Ability to read and write English
- Must be able to work in a fast paced warehouse environment to meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach and stoop
- Must be minimum 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift to load and secure material for shipment on flat-bed trailers for local and regional deliveries.
- Verify accuracy of material being loaded for customer deliveries.
- Use forklift to load metal material onto flatbed trucks.
- Ensure shipping labels accurately identifying shipping information.
