About The Position

This role is for a Re-Warehouser, Putaway, Replenisher in Northlake, TX. The primary responsibilities involve moving freight, stock, or materials between various locations within the distribution center using manual methods or equipment. This includes reading work orders, performing general physical activities, and cross-training in other distribution center functions. The role also involves handling shipping of small package orders and supporting overall distribution center operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use math skills.
• Ability to maintain legible handwriting.
• Broad knowledge of distribution center methods, procedures, layout, and product handling by catalog number.
• Ability to operate powered equipment efficiently and safely, including stand-up forklifts and RDT/Finger Scanner systems for entire shifts.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Understand daily goals, and achieve productivity and quality standards.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Perform general physical activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Above average attendance.
• Flexibility for overtime.
• Strong response to changing assignments and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, or materials between storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using manual methods or equipment.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material or equipment needs.
• Perform general physical activities requiring considerable use of arms, legs, and whole-body movement, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping.
• Cross-train and perform additional duties in various distribution center functions such as receiving, repack, order filling, loading, housekeeping, palletization, pallet picks, put-aways, shuttles, and customer special handling.
• Handle shipping of small package orders via carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to support overall distribution center operations.
