About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking motivated individuals for Forklift Operator and Order Selector positions at their cold storage facility. This role involves accurately staging, sorting, and packaging products for shipping, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment. The facility operates in a cold environment, ranging from 28°F to 55°F.

Requirements

Ability to accurately match numbers & letters
Ability to accurately stage and sort products for loading and unloading
Compliance with all safety requirements
Ability to package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Proficiency in electronically scanning products using a warehouse management system
Ability to identify and remove damaged products when received
Ability to record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
Ability to read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Ability to sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
