About The Position

Arnold Lumber Company is seeking a Material Handler to play a key role in supporting efficient operations by accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries. This role involves providing excellent customer service by assisting customers in a polite, professional manner and supporting their needs in the yard and warehouse. The Material Handler will safely load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate handling, stacking, and storage of materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and proper signage placement per company standards. The role also supports inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly. Adherence to all safety protocols, including completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and following OSHA and company safety regulations, is crucial.

Requirements

High School or GED
Forklift Certified
Experience operating machinery
Knowledge of building materials
Ability to lift 80lbs above head
