About The Position

Arnold Lumber Company is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join their team. This is a full-time, day shift position where you will play a key role in supporting efficient operations by accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries. You will also provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in the yard and warehouse, safely load and unload trucks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support inventory and transfers. Following all safety protocols, including completing forklift inspections and adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations, is crucial.

Requirements

High School or GED
Forklift Certified
Operating machinery
Knowledge of building materials
Lift 80lbs, above head

Nice To Haves

Construction or home improvement industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries.
Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers in a polite, professional manner and supporting their needs in the yard and warehouse.
Safely loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate handling, stacking, and storage of materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and proper signage placement per company standards.
Supporting inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
Following all safety protocols, including completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
