About The Position

Sundance Beverage Company is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler to maintain a sanitary and clean working environment. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, managing pallets, and ensuring production lines run efficiently. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, the ability to work independently in various temperatures, and performing assigned tasks by a supervisor.

Requirements

2 years Forklift experience and Material Handling experience
Ability to work a flexible work schedule
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, reach and repeated lifting
Must be able to hear and distinguish sounds and noises in a loud manufacturing environment
Must have acuity in both straight and peripheral vision
Ability to withstand frequent drastic changes in temperature

Responsibilities

Maintain a sanitary and clean working environment, including dumping trash and cleaning around the compactor, shipping dock, stretch wrapper areas, and all warehouse spaces.
Load and unload trucks with raw materials, finished products, equipment, and dunnage.
Load empty pallets into the palletizer.
Offload and stretch wrap full pallets and properly stack them.
Remove dunnage from the depalletizer and feed bottles to the depalletizer.
Ensure production lines run at all times by performing tasks safely and efficiently.
Consolidate product to create space for future production runs, including the next flavor, package, or the next shift’s production.
Conduct safety inspections of forklifts.
Inspect loads for cleanliness and quality.
Ensure trailer and container tags and seals are intact.
Use FIFO procedures to ensure proper rotation of full goods and raw materials.
Accurately record receipts and shipments on documents and in a computerized system.
Comply 100% with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Work safely and with little direction from management.
Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
