About The Position
This role involves operating a forklift to move materials within a manufacturing facility, either by forklift or by hand. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting materials for quality and abnormalities, using a tape measure to ensure product specifications are met, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Requirements
- Forklift experience
- Prior warehouse and or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure to measure product
- Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift as needed moving materials by forklift or by hand in the manufacturing facility.
- Inspect materials for quality and abnormalities.
- Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specification.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
