About The Position

This position is responsible for various warehouse duties including processing factory transfers, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, controlling inventory, and operating a forklift safely. The role requires the ability to use the PKMS system with RF scanning, complete LTL and Will Calls, and manage paperwork. Additionally, the operator must conduct daily pre and post-shift forklift inspections and attend safety meetings. Proper PPE and uniform are mandatory.

Requirements

• Ability to successfully process (ex: Basic Loading and Unloading) factory transfers in a safe and efficient manner without damage and with minimal supervision
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse – Must pass in-house forklift training
• Ability to learn PKMS and scanning system
• Basic computer skills and data entry
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to use good judgement and strong work ethics and integrity on the job
• Ability to effectively establish positive working relationships with employees and internal/external customers
• Ability to understand and follow all Company rules, policies, procedures and requirements especially for safety, quality, delivery and productivity/cost

Nice To Haves

• 0-1 years recent industrial forklift experience preferably within a large scale high volume warehouse/logistics facility

Responsibilities

• Process factory transfers
• Warehouse upkeep through sweeping and keeping area(s) clean
• Control damage and inventory
• Drive forklift safely
• Utilize the PKMS through RF scanning
• Complete LTL and Will Calls
• Complete paperwork and turn it in at the end of each shift
• Complete a daily Pre & Post shift Forklift inspection
• Attend and participate in daily safety meetings
• Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times during each shift
