About The Position

This position involves operating powered industrial trucks and forklifts to fulfill production parts orders, move materials, and maintain inventory. The role requires accuracy in counting items, comparing them to documentation, and providing excellent customer service. The job is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, potentially outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently; self directed and motivated.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and climb repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of trailer production parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Fulfill production parts orders.
• Move material to proper bins, shelves, or holding areas.
• Compare items and counts to packing slips, orders, or inventory logs.
• Accurately count items.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory locations.
