About The Position

This position is responsible for various warehouse operations including put-away, replenishment, and inventory management. The Forklift Operator will utilize equipment such as pallet movers, forklifts, and reach trucks to ensure efficient movement and storage of goods. Safety and proper equipment operation are paramount.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and related paperwork.
• Ability to be trained to use a hand held scanner.
• Must be able to operate a pallet mover.
• Must be certified to use both a fork lift and a reach truck according to OSHA guidelines.
• Basic Math Skills

Responsibilities

• Moving finished goods from the dock area to their appropriate storage locations using a pallet mover, forklift, or a reach truck.
• Moving finished goods from storage locations to the picking area for order processors.
• Unloading cartons from pallets and filling storage racks with cartons.
• Electronically transferring inventory picked for reprocessing or replenishment from its current location into the appropriate location.
• Careful and safe use of all company equipment and property.
• Reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor or the maintenance department.
• Performing duties in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and co-workers.
