About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing finished product for shipment to customers, adhering to performance standards in quality and quantity, and following all warehouse and shipping procedures. The position involves accurately recording and storing finished goods, handling corrugated products, and maintaining good housekeeping within the warehouse. A key aspect of this role is ensuring adherence to all safety practices, including forklift and dock door safety checklists, proper PPE usage, and communicating any unsafe conditions or behaviors.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferred
Experience with Fork Lift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred
Safety awareness and quality consciousness
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Fork Lift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred

Responsibilities

Truck Drivers check-in.
Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
Preparing finished product to ship to customer
Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for damages as well as count)
Following warehouse and shipping procedures
Accurately records and stores finished goods in the warehouse
Accurately handles and records all corrugated products from receipt to storage and then to production
Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
Ensure adherence to all safety practice like but not limited to: Forklift and dock doors safety check lists.
Ensure usage of proper PPE
Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior.
Adherence to golden safety rules.
