About The Position

This position is responsible for various warehouse operations including put-away, replenishment, inventory management, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. The Forklift Operator will move finished goods, manage inventory transfers, and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and related paperwork.
• Ability to be trained to use a hand held scanner.
• Must be able to operate a pallet mover.
• Must be certified to use both a fork lift and a reach truck according to OSHA guidelines (certification provided on-site).
• Basic Math Skills

Responsibilities

• Moving finished goods from the dock area to their appropriate storage locations using a pallet mover, forklift, or reach truck.
• Moving finished goods from storage locations to the picking area for order processors.
• Unloading cartons from pallets and filling storage racks with cartons.
• Electronically transferring inventory picked for reprocessing or replenishment.
• Careful and safe use of all company equipment and property.
• Reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor or the maintenance department.
• Performing duties in a way that ensures the safety of oneself and co-workers.
