About The Position

As a Forklift Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical issues, completing installations, and performing both unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance based on customer requirements. You will analyze breakdown situations, recommend corrective actions to customers, and execute repairs efficiently and professionally, while demonstrating professionalism and fostering positive relationships with customers through superior customer service.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to exchange information courteously, and a commitment to exceptional customer relations.
  • Competency in safely operating various equipment and personal hand tools, coupled with the ability to leverage available support resources effectively.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, safely fit inside a tight operator compartment measuring 16 to 20 inches wide and perform mechanical repairs in restricted, confined spaces.
  • Regularly lift and move up to 20 lbs.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Rarely required to lift over 110 lbs.
  • Regularly: Reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Frequently: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Occasionally: Climbing, balancing, and kneeling.
  • Regularly: Talking and hearing to communicate with team members and customers.
  • A high school diploma/GED.
  • One to three years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent vocational education.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
