About The Position
Parallel Employment Group is seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic for a manufacturing client in Lancaster. This role involves working in a fast-paced, medium to heavy industrial/manufacturing environment, performing maintenance and repairs on various types of material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years forklift mechanical experience
- 3 years minimum experience troubleshooting and repairing forklift equipment
- Able to work on hydraulics
- Able to work on electrical systems
- Able to work on pneumatics
- Able to perform preventative maintenance
- Able to sit/stand for extended periods
- Able to lift weight up to 50 lbs
- Must maintain their own set of tools
- Dependable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SWPPP
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, medium to heavy industrial/Manufacturing environment
- Work on propane-powered and diesel powered skid steer vehicles
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting repairs on material handling equipment
- Adhere to basic safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures
- Perform routine bending
- Learn and follow work instructions and safety rules
- Diagnose and fix machinery
- General ISO awareness (Business policy and business objectives)
