About The Position

Manually pull materials/doors and properly inspect, stack and stage for loading. Reads order, gathers ordered materials/doors manually or with forklift, sorts for proper stacking, applies place cards, stages for loading.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace and handle multiple parts, fast pace is physically demanding
• Must have moderate knowledge door types.
• Moderate knowledge is needed in core and skin types, door/customer quality specs, and production tickets.
• Read tape measure to 1/32" inch. Efficient tool operation
• Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• 1-2 years in manufacturing environment, preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining assigned warehouse areas organized, labeled and with only the correct product in them. Rotating overstock and inventory as needed
• Aid in monitoring material throughout the plant to ensure it is in proper location and help locate product for pullers and other personnel as needed
• Help ensure product is stored and handled in a safe damage free manner
• Other duties as assigned
