About The Position

Stage raw materials in racks, and carts for welding operations. This role requires adherence to safety standards, procurement and stocking of raw materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring parts are up-to-date with revision changes. The position involves working in an environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and noise, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, count, communicate by various channels.
• Must have appropriate high school, or on-the-job training from previous employment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to interpret drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw materials in racks, and carts for welding operations.
• Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards.
• Obtain specifications for trailer from pull sheets.
• Procure raw materials from part racks and place in cart/racks.
• Stock raw material after its been processed and accounted for.
• Assign locations to parts who do not have one.
• Maintain all parts up to date with the latest revision changes.
• Keep raw material area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory control which includes cycle counting.
• Other duties, as assigned by Dept. Leadership.
