About The Position

This position is responsible for staging raw materials in racks and carts for welding operations. The role requires adherence to safety standards, procurement and stocking of raw materials, managing part locations and revisions, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with inventory control. The job involves physical demands and exposure to various environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, count, and communicate by various channels.
• Appropriate high school or on-the-job training from previous employment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to interpret drawings and sketches.
• Ability to read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw materials in racks and carts for welding operations.
• Obtain specifications for trailer from pull sheets.
• Procure raw materials from part racks and place in cart/racks.
• Stock raw material after it has been processed and accounted for.
• Assign locations to parts that do not have one.
• Maintain all parts up to date with the latest revision changes.
• Keep raw material area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory control, which includes cycle counting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Leadership.
