About The Position

The Forklift Material Handler is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport, store, load, unload, and distribute materials, products, and inventory throughout warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution operations. This role ensures efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely support of production and shipping activities while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience working in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience driving forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Delivers materials to appropriate work centers or staging areas in order to maintain production.
• Pulls/stocks materials in racks as required.
• Loads/unloads trucks as required.
• Assists in physical inventory as needed.
• Enters inventory into the computer as needed.
• Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to this position, i.e., production reports, accurate timekeeping, etc.
