About The Position

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking a Material Handler to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. The Material Handler will work with a team to move, track, and ship materials accurately and safely. This role involves receiving, picking, packing, and shipping materials, maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock rotation, and utilizing warehouse systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting. The position also requires reading and following work instructions and basic blueprints, performing data entry and basic computer tasks, identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, and supporting multiple areas through cross-training. The company offers both day and night shift options with a 2-2-3 schedule and a shift premium for night shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with basic material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
