About The Position

Allegion Steelcraft is seeking 1st Shift Forklift Drivers to join their manufacturing team. This role involves handling materials for various manufacturing and service departments, moving product into and out of the facility, and delivering materials to production areas. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training and development will be provided. This is an opportunity for a stable career with benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to see well, including strong depth perception and the ability to distinguish between colors.
• Continuously or near continuously stand and maintain balance.
• Frequently (4 or more hours per day): lift, carry (25-50 lbs.), stoop, twist, and reach (overhead and to the side).
• Occasionally walk, push & pull heavy carts.
• Climbing, kneeling, and crouching may also be required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support material requirements by moving product into the facility.
• Move manufactured product out of the facility.
• Deliver purchased material to the production areas.
• Deliver small parts (both purchased and manufactured) to the production areas.
