About The Position

The Forklift Driver operates a forklift to transport merchandise and materials throughout the club, assists with loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspects and receives incoming merchandise, prepares pallets, performs general maintenance and safety procedures, maintains company policies and procedures, and provides positive service to Members. The role also includes stocking, rotating, and storing merchandise; keeping the club neat and organized; participating in daily openings and closings; and assisting in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently; inspect forklifts before use and follow established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks, prepare trucks for unloading, and accurately receive deliveries.
• Lift, reserve, and drop pallets between overhead steel and the sales floor; prepare pallets by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise; keep merchandise fully stocked and handle damaged or spoiled goods according to company procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard and performing general maintenance.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings and return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet Members, provide prompt and courteous service, and help Members locate merchandise.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties and work in other departments as needed.
