About The Position
The Finished Goods Operator carries out warehouse assignments efficiently, safely, and professionally. The role handles daily warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, and inspecting products before shipment. It also supports inventory accuracy, shipment scheduling, product organization, and shipping and receiving operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years of warehouse experience.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and other shipping systems.
- Forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle and inventory counts.
- Review inbound and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations.
- Verify materials on hand and project material needs to meet shipment schedules.
- Load and unload trucks and inspect merchandise in the shipping and receiving area.
- Inspect products for damage and report issues to inventory.
- Complete equipment safety checks and perform daily Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) cleaning tasks.
- Process inventory cancellations and order changes.
- Organize inventory for easy retrieval and put away incoming or outgoing loads.
- Work with the Purchasing department to ensure shipments are executed correctly.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for returned goods.
