About The Position

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking Forklift Drivers to perform essential warehouse functions to ensure daily requirements are met. This role involves supplying assembly and filling lines with components and transferring finished goods out of production. Forklift Drivers are expected to conduct material handling activities in alignment with manufacturing department goals and objectives, while strictly adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures. Each employee at Estee Lauder Co. is expected to practice an individual commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the workplace, aiming to steer society in a more sustainable direction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in a general warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.
  • Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Medium physical effort required.
  • Lifting 50 lbs. maximum and frequently lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for several hours daily.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse areas.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks including: Sit-down forklift, Tank Mover, Drexel, Swing Reach, and Rider Pallet Jacks.
  • Load and unload trailers with components, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Process customer orders, cycle count, and perform bin to bin transactions with SAP.
  • Verify accuracy of materials needed to materials picked in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to trained work instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse.
  • Adhere to and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including general housekeeping.
  • Assist in processing recycled materials, use compactors, and manage pallets.
